The Conscious Designer
The design process begins with two questions: where am I today and how am I perceived? Perceived as in making the presence felt.

… The design process begins with two questions: where am I
today and how am I perceived? “Perceived as in making the presence felt,” he explains. There are quite a few corporate bodies in India today who have handled their identity in such an indefinite way that they are not perceived at all. “This is the source and then there is the target, which is, what do I want to be perceived as,” he goes on. The designer comes in to answer this question and also suggest how to get to the target.
