| A kitsch style, playing along "a shelf at a small Indian store" idea was the main theme of the site. All the products displayed on the shelf are clickable and takes the viewer to the relevant section. A "festival finder" wheel displays the upcoming festival date, and on clicking gives information on the festival and suggested purchases. The festivals section becomes a sticky feature among expatriate Indians seeking to connect with India, to educate their children. The whole idea of the site is to evoke nostalgia and longing among those Indians who have settled abroad. |
